Recipes for Easter

Four recipes for your Easter Holidays

Warning: May contain typos

I'm planning for Easter Saturday dinner and thought I'd share a few of my recipes - Pork Loin Roast with Figs, Cran-Apple Rice, Broccoli Salad and Chocolate Cream Cheese Easter Eggs. Let's start with the main course - Pork Loin Roast. I've served it a few times and received rave reviews. To save time, I've made the fig sauce and the orange juice sauce a few days ahead.

I am not a big potato fan, so when I found this recipe, I knew I had to try it. It goes well with the pork loin.

It seems as if my extended family relies on broccoli salad for all our family gatherings. We all have various recipes. I made this broccoli/cauliflower salad for friends, Janice and Tom's wedding. It ended up in their family cookbook. The secret sauce is Balsamic vinegar.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Easter Eggs finish the menu. They're pretty and delicious. Make them small because they're sweet.

For all my Jewish friends, have a wonderful and blessed Passover. Please feel free to share some of your Passover recipes.

Happy Easter.

Those who don't celebrate - happy spring!

FYI, Early Summer has discussion questions at the end. Use the questions for yourself or your book club.

I also love to meet with book club members. Email me if you're interested in having me as your guest.
